Ambulance

It is always better to solve problems as soon as possible than to let them go to the extreme. The psychiatric and psychological outpatient clinic is often a person's first point of contact with mental health care and is primarily for those whose treatment cannot be delayed. Like other facilities, our outpatient clinics are focused on diagnosis and treatment, where you will get answers to basic questions. As well as psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and nurses are also available and we work more intensively with GPs, other mental health centres or social rehabilitation services. We place a strong emphasis on linking with community care services.

Outpatient clinics are open between 8 am and 4 pm.

At present, we treat only patients who have made an appointment in the acute outpatient clinic.

Acute admission

The acute admission provides care for patients brought in by EMS units with a need for acute or urgent psychiatric care. At the same time, for the same reasons, it is used to examine patients referred by other departments (emergency admissions of hospitals - especially Hořovice Hospital - and other psychiatric facilities).

Acute outpatient clinics

It serves for acute examination, basic crisis management and planning of early acute care (both outpatient, inpatient and inpatient). It also serves as a possible contact in case of crisis or acute problems after primary care (currently, due to capacity reasons, this outpatient clinic is only used for booked patients).

Children's outpatient clinic

The operation of the children's outpatient clinic will start at the earliest at the turn of 2024/2025.

The aim of the children's outpatient clinic is to provide acute care for adolescents aged 15 to 18 years. The outpatient clinic will be staffed by a general psychiatrist and a psychologist. The main focus of care is to help in crisis situations and acute mental health problems in this age group.

Indication ambulance

The Indication Outpatient Clinic provides diagnostic tests for inclusion in specific CDR programmes (inpatient, inpatient or outpatient).

Crisis care outpatient clinic

The outpatient clinic provides care to patients after their hospitalization and to individuals who have already been admitted to our clinic for evaluation through an order form and have undergone the examination.

The psychologist deals with diagnostic and therapeutic activities (psychotherapy, crisis intervention), in which he or she most often uses interviews, psychodiagnostic tests and questionnaires. In therapeutic activities, he most often uses psychotherapeutic interview, relaxation techniques or dream work. She also uses relaxation techniques and dream work as other therapeutic activities.

Problems with which people most often seek a psychologist:

  • Anxiety, depression, sadness, stress.
  • difficult or crisis interpersonal relationships (partner, family and work)
  • difficult life situations (illness, death of a loved one, loss of job, etc.)
  • traumatic events (bullying, abuse, etc.)
  • psychosomatic difficulties (e.g. sleep disorders, chronic pain, skin problems)
  • major life crossroads and decision-making
  • self-confidence and trust in the environment
  • personal development and self-knowledge
  • clinical-psychological diagnosis

Psychotherapy, crisis intervention and clinical-psychological assessment can be recommended by your doctor, or you can self-refer without a referral. If you know that you cannot attend an appointment, please cancel early. Your thoughtfulness will allow us to offer the vacancy to another patient.

At the moment, we only treat patients with appointments in the psychological outpatient clinic.
